Hot air and steam are passed granulated material through and dry the material gradually.
By gravity, the material moves gradually to the lower part of dryer.
Drying is carried out by hot air passing through a number of perforated plates and by the heating surfaces.
The hot air used for drying is discharged to the outside through exhaust plate in the dryer
and steam condensate is discharged through a trap.
